R.STAHL Camera Systems is launching its new, explosion-protected full HD camera in a version certified by Lloyd's Register for maritime application with degree of protection IP69, for video surveillance on drilling rigs and onboard ships. The EC-910-AFZ with 10x zoom meets the most stringent requirements with regard to seawater, vibration and temperature resistance, and has been subjected to extensive EMC testing.
Due to its compact design and its lightweight 6.5 kg, the camera system in its electropolished 316L stainless-steel enclosure can be easily installed even in tight spots. To reduce cabling, energy and data can be transmitted via PoE+ via network cable (CAT5e onwards). Designed for an extended temperature range of -40 °C to +65 °C, the autofocus systems are also available as 3x zoom versions without Lloyd's certification, but with a viewing angle of 90°.
Both device versions are suitable for installation in hazardous areas Zone 1, 21. They feature state-of-the-art camera technology and are ideal for indoor and detail surveillance. The high light-sensitivity of the image sensor, together with Wide Dynamic Range, ensures clear video images even under difficult light conditions with great contrasts. The day/night mode automatically adjusts lighting to suit the ambient brightness. The defog function ensures improved motive recognition even in adverse weather conditions such as fog, drizzle, smog or smoke. With their ONVIF-Profil-S and Q interfaces, the cameras can be seamlessly integrated into modern video surveillance networks with easy device recognition and configuration.
R.STAHL Camera Systems supplies the new EC-910-AFZ camera with or without armoured multi-cable and including a stainless-steel sun protection roof and a wall- / ceiling-mount bracket. Other mounting accessories available include a pole mount / corner mount bracket as well as a bracket for inspection window monitoring.
