The unanimous lighting solution: LED spotlight for Ex-Zone 1

Use the 6050/6 series LED universal spotlight in place of ceiling lights, pendant light fittings and floodlights

Ex universal spotlight R. STAHL

The next generation of Ex-protected LED spotlights from R. STAHL for Zone 1 is ingenious in design and application as it can be used as pendant, ceiling or flood lights. Efficient and multi-functional, the spotlights in the new 6050/6 series optimises the quantity of lighting required for illumination – thereby enabling procuring, installing and storing of the light fittings considerably easier and cost-effective.

With innovative chip-on-board LEDs, these spotlights achieve a high luminous efficacy of at least 110 lm/W. Reduced energy consumption and maintenance cycles of up to 10 years make the operating costs incredibly low. The new light fittings are available in three different power classes – 20 W, 40 W and 60 W – and in different colour temperatures (4000 K, 5000 K and 6500 K). They have a colour rendering index of CRI > 80, which satisfies all the requirements of the relevant standards for both indoor and outdoor use. Three different light distribution curves for wide, medium and narrow beam make these light fittings a versatile choice, allowing them to illuminate wide areas and to highlight specific, focused points. To facilitate installation for each of these purposes, R. STAHL has provided these light fittings with integrated lugs for ceiling mounting. They are readily available for suspension on ring eyes or for attaching a bracket.

These spotlights are more compact and considerably lighter than other equivalent LED products currently available in the market. With IP68 and IK10 degrees of protection, they have an enclosure made from seawater-resistant aluminium and toughened glass. They can be operated at extreme ambient temperatures between -60 °C and +60 °C. With ATEX and IECEx certification already in place, the universal spotlights have been designed for global application. Other regional certification such as TR CU certification is to follow in the near future.
