State-of-the-art plugs and sockets for use in hazardous areas – versatile and safe
SolConeX is R. STAHL's latest series of explosion-protected plugs and sockets, boasting impressive versatility and a great many clever features for quick and easy installation and functional operation in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. These plugs and sockets are suitable for all international wiring systems.

R. STAHL's latest generation, SolConeX, boasts the world's most advanced explosion-protected plugs and sockets. These models are fully compatible with the older versions. They are easy to install, e.g. the deep-drawn enclosure wall allows more space in the connection chamber for the load disconnect switch that is integrated in the socket flange. An integrated strain relief ensures optimal contact during operation, and the self-cleaning contact stacks have been developed to minimise contact resistances. For control and status signals, there is the option of retrofitting up to two auxiliary contacts. The switch sockets are available for currents of between 16 A and 125 A and for connection cross-sections of up to 150 mm².
