ORCA – THE HMI OF THE FUTURE FOR HAZARDOUS AREAS
HMIs with a modular design are the future for the process industry, even in hazardous areas. The latest ORCA HMI generation reflects this with its modular design: the entire electronics and the display are housed in separate modules – an E-Box and a D-Box. Both modules can be upgraded separately according to technical advance, or are quickly replaced in the case of necessary repairs, thanks to the EASY CONNECT system. ORCA HMIs are suitable for all INDOOR and PROTECTED OUTDOOR areas in temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +50 °C – certified for Zones 1, 2, 21, 22 as well as Class I, Div 2, Class II, Div 2 and Class III.

The ORCA HMI has been developed according to the requirements of leading players in the process industry – the 22" operator station features a luminous touchscreen display with optimal readability, an integrated RFID card reader for fast authentication, a GMP and clean room compliant enclosure, various operation LEDs, different keyboard language options and much more. ORCA DUAL MONITOR SOLUTIONS – FOR A COMPLETE OVERVIEW ON-SITE
As many operating stations as possible should be available on site to enable you to make the optimum decisions - the ORCA dual monitors make this possible. Available as horizontal or vertical dual monitor solutions, all process automation, ERP, MED or PLC systems can be visualised, thanks to the redundancy of 2 Ethernet interfaces.
ORCA AND REMOTE HMI V7
Over 10,000 installed applications make our REMOTE HMI an industrial-grade Thin Client software, developed for on-site operation of the Distributed Control System (DCS), the Manufacturing Executions System (MES) and others. The REMOTE V7 is a closed system and compatible with all distributed control systems. It supports all major Thin Client technologies such as RDP, VNC or HTML browsers, and is based on the highly secure Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 operating system, with security updates guaranteed by Microsoft until 2034.
WINDOWS 11, IGEL READY, PXE BOOT OR MOVICON
In addition to our REMOTE HMI, we offer a wide range of software integration options on our ORCA HMIs, all based on the latest and highly secure operating systems, Windows 10 and Windows 11. Options include pre-configuration with IGEL READY as well as setting up PXE boot or MOVION 11 for machine applications.
