The pac-Carriers in Series 9295 guarantee significantly simpler integration and tool-free installation of ISpac Ex i isolators. The pac-Carriers can be mounted on DIN rails or on mounting plates. Complicated wiring is now a thing of the past. Predefined connecting cables substantially reduce the risk of incorrect wiring. Furthermore, for large signal volumes, you can reduce the time needed for installation by more than 40%. Our solutions can be integrated seamlessly into automation systems from all well-known manufacturers, including ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, Scheider Electric, Siemens and Yokogawa. Flexible adaptations can be made at any time and in no time.

Whether you want to operate 8, 16, 32 or several hundred isolators, the pac-Carrier 9295 from R. STAHL is your compact solution for integrating modular ISpac isolators into your automation system. The benefit for you: The entire product range of ISpac modules is available for integration, guaranteeing an outstanding range of signals. Choose between versions with eight or sixteen slots for up to 32 channels, and simply get started. The pac-Carrier requires just 110 mm for up to 16 channels inside the cabinet. Optional HART Mux communication needs just 36 mm more.

Good availability is the key for successful process engineering production. Just like our isolators, the pac-Carrier 9295 has undergone thorough testing during development, in order to ensure that it functions reliably throughout the entire service life of your system. The design of this globally unique pac-Carrier for isolators stands out thanks to its robust, vibration-resistant design, which is also ideally suited for use in harsh industrial environments. The installed modules are secured at two points: The DIN rail and the terminal to the non-hazardous area. The pac-Carrier is securely connected to the DIN rail or can be installed directly on a mounting plate.

Would you like to centrally record line faults, such as wire breakages or short circuits, in the field wiring of the ISpac modules? With an on-site common error display (using LEDs) and remote alarming (via a signalling contact), this is no problem.

The pac-Carrier 9295 can optionally be connected to redundant 24 V DC power supplies. If one of the two supplies fails, continued operation and, as a result, good availability are still guaranteed. At the same time, you can reap the benefits of outstanding flexibility – the pac-Carrier enables the ISpac modules to be connected to I/O assemblies using just a predefined cable, significantly reducing the work required for wiring. What's more, the defined connections mean it is almost impossible to wire the connections incorrectly.
