HMI application-specific solutions – for hardware and software
For our HMIs to operate optimally in your system they sometimes need to be customised - their hardware or software. R. STAHL HMI's support centre looks after this process from start to finish – from the initial consultation, engineering, adjustment of the HMI to migration. It is our job to ensure that R. STAHL's HMIs are ideally integrated into your production system.

ORCA HMIs WITH APPLICATION-SPECIFIC SCANNER SOLUTIONS
Scanning with the ORCA HMIs has just become even easier – our trigger handle and the IS530x smartphone allow you to flexibly move across your plant. Thanks to a reliable Bluetooth connection the scanned values are immediately displayed with the corresponding software on the ORCA HMI. The barcode scanner in this smartphone-trigger combination is extremely powerful, with close-up 1D / 2D scans of up to 6 m, and remote scans, for example of goods stored up high, of up to 18 m. This makes it an attractive, low-cost alternative to fixed scanners.
The camera module of the IS530x, although slightly less powerful, is ideal for fast individual scans. In connection with the corresponding app, the scan value is stored on the smartphone for later transfer to the appropriate software on the ORCA.
Software solutions
On the whole, a system's requirements and complexity determine which software will be selected. We provide solutions for every type of requirement – for complex Thin Client structures we recommend our proprietary REMOTE HMI firmware, or, as an alternative, the IGEL software. If you want your HMIs only configured with an operating system, we recommend Windows 10 / 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC – of course, we can also realise solutions without an operating system or PXE boot. HMIs intended for machine operation are usually equipped by us with Movicon 11, and for all other types of software configuration requirements we will also find a satisfactory solution.
